Well it´s been quiet for a while in the Watertouch camp, but now as we
are heading towards a new year we thought it would be about time to get our
act together and produce something new...First of all, a big thank you
to Jonas ! The webmaster himself...Be sure to check out the drummer man
from Ludvika and webdesigner at the Xinema website ! The king is dead, long
live the king..... Well we are returning in the beginning of next year, with a new
website, some interesting news and so forth...Well we´ll finish with a review..

Cheerio ! Here`s some news about the releaseparty we had at Bolanche last Friday. What can i say.....What a night !! Many thanks to all of you who showed up for the gig. Everybody in the band enjoyed the evening very much! I would like to thank all the guests that joined us up on stage for making it such as a special night. The gig coincided with my birthday and Klas played an organ solo, including a rearrangement of "Happy Birtday", just for me. Probably one of the best birthday gifts i will ever get! I include the setlist below for those of you who are interested.

It´s finally confirmed !! Now you have got the chance to catch Watertouch LIVE !!
and to buy the album for a special releaseparty price,10 euros or 100 swedish kr !!
The releaseparty is going to take place at Bolanche (Sweden-Borlänge) friday the
14:th of january.The doors will open at 22 00 and we will be going on stage at around
midnight.The entrance fee varieys from 5 euros to 10 euros,depending on which time you arrive. Unfortunately Per Wiberg, the keyboard player, is tied up with rehersals with his band Opeth. But we got a replacement on organ by the name of Klas Hägglund. For those of you who aren´t familar with him, he have played with swedish known bands as Stonecake, Sky High, Häggberts Armod etc. I´ve had the pleasure to play with him before, many years ago, and i can tell you. He plays the shit out of his Hammond B:3 ! We also got a special line up with guests on various instruments that kindly have agreed to give their splendour to this magical evening. I´m really excited about that !! I´m as eager as a child on Christmas Eve. We are going to do some songs from the album, some covertunes that are right up the watertouch sleeve, and two new songs called "Tune from fågelmyra and Beneath her blue surburban skies". The last one i wrote a couple a weeks ago and it sounds like a mix between Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. If this all works out half as good as i think, it will be a night to remember!

Cheerio ! I´ve finally received the cd from Sony Austria and i´m more
than pleased ! The overall package is superb ! I cant´t wait to share it
with you progsters out there.The cd will be avaible to buy from our website
on february first. Until then i´m gonna be busy with sending out promo cd:s
to various newspapers, distributors & webzines that i have already sought
out. I`m also planning for a release party in Borlänge (Sweden) on the
14:th of january. It´s not a hundred percent sure yet, so check out our
website early next year for the final information. Actually Couleur Words have
already written a review of a promo copy. Be sure to check it out !

The album has finally been shipped for pressing ! At the moment i am
also doing some serious investigation in my record collection, looking for
some nice cover surprises to perform on the releaseparty. Artists that are
considered to get the "Watertouch treatment" are Deep Purple, Max
Webster, Allman Brothers, Hammer, Zappa.
